Does Slyp need an internet connection?
After downloading the AI model once (a few minutes, Wi-Fi recommended), Slyp works fully offline. Scanning, extraction, chat and export all happen on your device with no network connection needed.
Is my data stored anywhere outside my phone?
No. Your receipt images, extracted data and chat history live only on your iPhone. We have no servers that receive or store your data. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
What AI model does Slyp use?
Slyp uses a private, on-device language model we've optimized specifically for receipt understanding. It runs entirely on your iPhone's hardware. Nothing connects to the internet during inference.
How accurate is the AI extraction?
Over 95% on standard printed receipts. You can manually edit any field in the review screen. Clear, well-lit scans yield the best results.
Can I export my receipts?
Yes. Export to CSV, PDF or JSON from any receipt or filtered selection. All files are generated on-device and shared through the standard iOS share sheet, no upload required.
